What we collect

Nothing personal. The site is fully static — no database, no account system, no contact form. Tax calculations happen in your browser; no input is sent to a server.

Data stored in your browser

• localStorage. If you edit Custom tax rates, those values are saved locally under the key knowmytax:custom-tax-rates. Clear it any time via your browser's storage settings.
• URL query string. Calculator inputs are reflected in the URL so you can bookmark or share results. No personal information is included — just the numbers you typed.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service from our hosting provider. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across sites, and doesn't collect personal data. The data we see is aggregate counts — page views, referrers, country-level location.

Advertising

We display Google AdSense ads to keep the calculator free. AdSense uses cookies to serve and measure ads. To opt out:

• YourAdChoices for industry-wide opt-out

Cookies

The only cookies set on this site come from Google AdSense (when ads are served). Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no cookies. KnowMyTax itself sets no cookies.

Your rights under UK GDPR

Since we don't store personal data, there's nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. For Google AdSense data, see Google's privacy policy.
